The Makalu FX TA trekking pole is equipped with the new Aergon Air grip. This is a new grip design, improved for comfort and grip ergonomics. Thanks to special cavities and a construction with large support surfaces, the grip is lightweight and offers a firm grip in various positions. The rubberized back of the grip offers maximum grip and control on descents. The poles are also easy to hold thanks to the angled grips. These save your wrists during the hike. Below the grip, there is an extended grip that provides further options for holding the pole when climbing mountains. For example, in a steep traverse, this is an important feature. The poles can be assembled in seconds using the Speed Lock plus locking system.
