The ROCLITE PRO MID GTX is our latest and most technical hiking model. However, it is not a classic robust hiking boot. ROCLITE uses technologies known from running models, which make it lighter and add to its comfort. This higher MID version snugly wraps and protects the ankle, so you can confidently venture into more challenging terrains.
And in challenging terrain, you need great stability from your footwear. This is ensured by several elements on the upper. The first is the external heel counter reinforcement with molded TPU material, which extends to the front of the shoe. The instep reinforcement is made of abrasion-resistant material, as is the protective toe bumper. Between the outsole and midsole, there is a flexible META-PLATE that protects the feet from sharp rocks piercing the sole. The high-energy POWERFLOW MAX cushioning excels in comfort, energy return, and dynamics.
The single-layer ballistic nylon upper is maximally resistant to abrasion and features a GTX membrane to keep your feet dry. This is the WIDE version, providing ample toe room, especially when feet swell after a full day of hiking. The gusseted tongue perfects the overall fit and prevents any pebbles from entering the shoe.
The proven G-GRIP outsole with graphene admixture has increased abrasion resistance and excellent grip on any surface.
