The Roclite is a cut diamond among cross-country shoes. A big part of this is thanks to the excellently designed sole, which provides superior grip and, at the same time, very good durability. The new generation Roclite 345 GTX takes this standard a level higher by enriching the sole with Nobel Prize-winning graphene. The result is even better grip on all types of surfaces while maintaining top-notch flexibility and abrasion resistance. The Roclite is primarily at home on soft ground, where you will fully utilize the 6 mm high studs. However, thanks to the high density of the tread and its large contact area, the Roclite does not lose its adhesion even on hard ground or on the road, making it a perfectly versatile companion for any conditions.
The Roclite 345 GTX model utilizes all these advantages and transfers them from the running to the hiking environment. On the purely running sole and midsole, you will find a sturdy upper in the style of high hiking boots. The result will exceed all your expectations. On your feet, you will have an incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and agile shoe with reliable grip, providing a level of ankle support and fixation that no running shoe offers.
The presence of the waterproof GORE-TEX membrane is also important, which will keep your feet dry even in the heaviest downpours and significantly increases thermal comfort. All this while maintaining excellent breathability. Furthermore, the new generation GORE-TEX invisible fit is much softer and more flexible, so you won't even notice you're wearing a shoe with a membrane once you put them on.
The drop here is 8 millimeters, and the cushioning layer in the forefoot has the same height. This means that in the Roclite 345 GTX, you will be able to read the terrain perfectly, and the shoes will reliably guide you through technical sections. The PowerFlow cushioning compound with higher softness and energy return ensures excellent comfort. The midsole is complemented by a META-PLATE reinforcement. So you don't have to fear any sharp stones or loss of flexibility, as the reinforcement used can effectively protect your feet without negatively affecting the flexibility of the entire shoe.
The upper on the Roclite 345 GTX is stretched on a medium width, and a robust rubber toe bumper is a must. The high-top shoe is comfortably padded, so it won't press on you even after a full day of hiking in the mountains.
