The Rab Ascendor Pro Fleece is a technical mid-layer designed for demanding cold-weather ascents, such as ski touring, ice climbing, and mountaineering. Its hybrid construction combines warm and durable Thermic™ Pro Hybrid fleece with breathable Matrix™ softshell panels, strategically placed for optimal temperature regulation and weather protection.
This body-mapped design ensures warmth and breathability where it's needed most, while offering enhanced wind resistance. The fleece can effectively function as an insulating layer or an outer layer during high-output activities.
- Main Fabric: Thermic™ Pro Hybrid Fleece (69% Recycled Polyester, 23% Polyester, 8% Elastane) with enhanced wind resistance (177gsm)
- Panels: Matrix™ Softshell (88% Recycled Polyamide, 12% Elastane) with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish
- Low-profile, helmet-compatible hood with elasticated binding
- Two YKK zipped chest pockets, doubling as ventilation
