It's not exactly the lightest, but it holds up well, it doesn't get wet. It breathes about as well as all Gore jackets, so nothing much, but that's just how it is. The only star down is for the cut, it would need a little more freedom under the arms. When I'm hiking with poles or lying somewhere with my arms higher, it's great, the jacket doesn't ride up and stays in place. But when I'm just standing or walking with my arms lower, I feel like a centimeter under the arms would be more comfortable.
