Down the Váh and Down the Nitra by Bicycle - Book
The title Dolu Váhom a dolu Nitrou na bicykli (Down the Váh and Down the Nitra by Bike) is intended for lovers of cycling and rivers. The picturesque journey down the Váh was described in the 19th century by Alojz Mednyanský, but not from the saddle of a bicycle. On the journey down the Váh, the author Eva Dučaiová offers a 500 km long route from the source of the Black Váh or the White Váh to its mouth into the Danube, divided into seven days. To the cycling pilgrimage down the Váh, the author added a journey down the Nitra river, so cycling enthusiasts have the opportunity to complete almost 260 km over another four days and get to know our fourth longest river.
