TSL Highlander Instinct Snowshoes
TSL HIGHLANDER INSTINCT snowshoes with the new full BOA binding are high-performance and comfortable snowshoes for truly demanding adventurers. Thanks to numerous spikes and lateral rows of teeth, they offer excellent grip even in the most challenging conditions such as ice or hard-packed snow.
Last but not least, you will appreciate the high-tech design that you will immediately fall in love with. The design of the TSL HIGHLANDER INSTINCT snowshoes also respects the crucial ergonomics of snowshoes, which is so important for demanding treks.
HIGHLANDER FRAME – excellent grip and ergonomics. For the demanding.
Full BOA® FIT SYSTEM – In addition to ease of use, a major benefit of the full BOA® FIT system is the even distribution of tension across the entire boot, preventing any part of the boot from being overloaded.
Hourglass shape – thanks to the ergonomic shape, the snowshoes fit together when walking side-by-side, so you don't have to walk wide, nor do you risk stepping on the other snowshoe.
Binding size adjustment with lock – it is quick, secure, and prevents the binding from shifting during walking.
Tightening and loosening the strap around the ankle – can be easily done with one hand using a ratchet.
Pre-setting the strap around the ankle – possible thanks to the lock, and putting them on is quick and comfortable whether you use hiking or snowboard boots.
Shock absorber – located under the heel, it eliminates unpleasant noise when stepping down.
Practical bag – snowshoes are delivered with a textile bag suitable for transport, storage, and protects your other equipment from being cut by the spikes or teeth of the snowshoes.
HIGHLANDER TYPE FRAME
At first glance, the HIGHLANDER impresses with its "high-tech" design, which only emphasizes its excellent grip on all types of snow (crust, wet snow, ice). TSL HIGHLANDER snowshoes are designed for adventurers who often go off the beaten path and need high-performance snowshoes for challenging and steep terrains.
- ROCKER – the rear rocker helps guide the foot in the correct direction and makes walking on flat and inclined terrain easier.
- STRUCTURED FRAME – the structured frame and transverse ribs guarantee excellent guidance of the snowshoe on soft and compact snow.
- LATERAL GRIPS – the snowshoe has a line of teeth on each longitudinal side, which help with grip when walking uphill and downhill.
- FRONT GRIP – sharp spikes in the front movable part of the binding are made of stainless steel and shaped so that even the steepest ice lines are not a problem.
- CRAMPONS – the frame of the snowshoe is equipped with permanently mounted crampons made of pure steel in the front part.
- CONTACT GRIP – the spikes in the rear rocker are made of composite material, helping with grip and snow dispersal during descents. TSL has this technology patented.
New full BOA® FIT SYSTEM
Thanks to the new full BOA® FIT system, putting on snowshoes has never been easier. The toe and heel of the binding are connected, and simply tightening the system at the toe will tighten the entire boot in the binding. In addition to ease of use, a major benefit of the BOA® FIT system is the even distribution of tension across the entire boot, preventing any part of the boot from being overloaded.
Adjustable heel lift
TSL snowshoe heel lifts allow adaptation to any length of footwear so that the heel lift is always under the heel. The heel lift forms a 12° angle with the snowshoe. The heel lift can be easily and comfortably activated and deactivated with the tip of a hiking pole.
Invest in snowshoes that will last you a really long time
You are not buying TSL snowshoes for 2 or 3 seasons, but for many demanding seasons. They are used in rental fleets for 10 to 15 years! Their high durability is due to the quality of production, which takes place in the French Alps, about an hour's drive from Chamonix. Production is in-house, and among other things, they also produce components for the automotive industry and for AIRBUS aircraft manufacturers.
Honest materials and local sustainable production and service
The plastic granulate comes from the Netherlands and is also used for the production of ski boots. Another guarantee of long life is the availability of spare parts for 20 years. Every part of the snowshoe can be unscrewed and replaced. Nothing is pressed, as this would complicate servicing. TSL snowshoes are assembled again in our own production facility in Annecy, which is about 30 minutes from the molding plant. Local employees work there in a friendly atmosphere, some for over 20 years.
