The powerful tactical flashlight Fenix TK17 offers a top-tier luminous flux of up to 3600 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 330 meters. The flashlight is powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh with a USB-C connector and a power bank function, thanks to which you can also charge your phone or other electronics in an emergency. The battery provides power for up to 60 hours of runtime. Its very solid and waterproof design makes this tactical flashlight suitable for harsh outdoor conditions, for professionals, law enforcement, and hunting. The Fenix TK17 LED flashlight uses a dual tactical switch, which allows for faster and more reliable operation in critical situations. For example, it can be quickly turned on directly to strobe mode or to maximum output. The head of the flashlight is equipped with a stainless steel strike bezel, which is also equipped with three tungsten tips. Therefore, the flashlight can be effectively used to break glass in critical situations or for self-defense.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix TK17 Flashlight Operation

There may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

To turn on, press the larger tactical button located at the end of the flashlight; for momentary activation, gently hold the button. By pressing the adjacent mode button, you can switch between output modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode when the flashlight is on, hold the mode button for approximately 0.5 seconds. To turn on the flashlight directly to strobe mode, press and hold the mode button. The BURST mode (3600 lumens) can also be activated at any time by holding the main tactical button for 0.5 seconds.

Intelligent Overheat Protection - Due to the flashlight reaching a high output of 3600 lumens, its temperature increases. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. As soon as the temperature drops below 60°C, the output will automatically increase again.

Battery Level Indication - Turn on the flashlight with any button for less than one second (quick on-off), then the battery level indicator next to the switch will light up for 3 seconds. If the flashlight remains on for longer, the indicator will not activate. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to over 85%. Flashing green means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Flashing red means less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Low Battery Warning - The flashlight will automatically step down to the lowest output mode. If it is already in the lowest mode, it will flash 3 times every five minutes.

Power Bank Function

Connect the USB cable to the side USB-C port and connect the USB device to be charged to the other end of the cable. The remaining battery capacity in power bank mode is indicated by three LEDs around the positive pole:

• all indicator LEDs are off - 0% battery is depleted
• one is flashing - remaining capacity 1-5%
• one is lit - remaining capacity 5-33%
• two are lit - remaining capacity 33-66%
• three are lit - 66-100%

Charging

• Remove the battery from the flashlight and connect the USB-C cable to the connector near the positive pole of the battery.
• During charging, three blue indicators on the battery will light up sequentially. As soon as all three indicators are constantly lit, the battery is fully charged.
• Charging time for a fully discharged battery is approximately 4 hours with a 5 V / 2 A USB adapter.

Warning

• Use only high-quality rechargeable 21700 batteries with protection circuits.
• Do not shine on flammable objects from close proximity to avoid damaging them or causing a fire due to high temperature!
• During transport or storage in a closed environment, remove the battery or loosen the tail cap to prevent accidental activation.
• Keep this flashlight out of reach of children and do not shine directly into anyone's eyes!
• Insert the battery with the positive pole facing the head of the flashlight.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is discharged - charge or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The head, body, or tail cap of the flashlight is loose, tighten them.
