Fenix LD30R LED rechargeable flashlight

The Fenix LD30R pocket tactical flashlight offers a luminous flux of up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of 267 meters. It is among the most powerful Fenix flashlights for a single 18650 Li-ion battery, which is recharged via a USB-C port directly on the flashlight body (the battery no longer needs to be removed from the flashlight as in the previous version). However, in an emergency, the flashlight can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries. The LD30R flashlight features seven different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high output and long runtime (up to 31 days of continuous light), and also includes strobe and SOS modes for emergency situations. The flashlight is equipped with a battery charge level indicator in the side button. Thanks to the tail tactical switch, it is suitable not only for a wide range of outdoor, sports, and work activities, but also for professionals.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.

To turn on or off, press the tail button; to turn on momentarily, hold the button. You can switch between power levels at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to strobe modes, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. This activates the strobe. With another short press, you can switch between strobe and SOS. Holding the button will return the flashlight to the original constant light mode.

Battery charge level indicator (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - each time the flashlight is turned on, the indicator LED in the side button is activated. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to over 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of the battery capacity remains.

Charging - open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and connect the included cable (USB-C connector), connect the other end of the cable to a computer, or a USB adapter to the mains or car. During charging, the indicator in the button glows red. After full charging, it turns green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours. The flashlight can be used in 1 and 50 lumen modes during charging.

Low battery warning (functional only when using Li-ion 18650) - the flashlight will gradually and automatically switch to the lowest mode, and the indicator LED in the button will start flashing red.

Overheat protection - due to the flashlight's dimensions and high output in 1700 lumen mode, the turbo mode operation is time-limited. Also, if the internal temperature of the flashlight rises above a critical level, it will automatically start reducing the output in gradual steps until its temperature stabilizes.
