Fenix E18R V2.0 rechargeable flashlight

Fenix E18R V2.0 is a rechargeable miniature pocket LED flashlight with a short-term extreme output of up to 1200 lumens (ANSI). This model uses a top-tier Luminus SST-40 LED as its light source. Thanks to a length of only 67 millimeters and a weight of 56 grams (including battery), it can be carried at all times - in a pocket, on keys, or in a handbag. It is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery RCR123A, which can be recharged in the flashlight via a USB-C connector from any USB source (e.g., computer, power bank, car USB adapter). In an emergency, a disposable CR123A battery can also be used.

High quality of workmanship, durability, and waterproofness are a matter of course. The flashlight is equipped with a removable clip and has a magnetic tail cap. A unique innovation is a special collimator that creates a light beam with a surprising range of 146 meters. The collimator is made using technology used in the automotive industry and its height is only 3 millimeters, which is less than half compared to commonly used optics. Usage

To turn on or off, press and hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. You can switch between output modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to strobe mode, press and hold the side button for approximately 1.2 seconds.

The control button can be locked to prevent accidental activation, e.g., during transport in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, press the button twice quickly again.

Intelligent overheat protection - given that such a small flashlight achieves such an extreme output of 1200 lumens, it heats up. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the maximum output can be used again.

Charging - open the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and connect the included cable (USB-C connector), connect the other end of the cable to a computer, or a mains or car USB adapter. During charging, the indicator LED glows red. After full charge, it turns green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Battery level indication - when the flashlight is off, a short press of the side button activates the indicator LED in the side button for three seconds. If the indicator diode glows green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is charged to 25-50%. Flashing red means less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Low battery warning (functional only when using Li-ion RCR123A) - the flashlight will gradually and automatically switch to the lowest mode, and the indicator LED in the button will start flashing red.

Notice

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the flashlight head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality 3V CR123A batteries and RCR123A Li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example, due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
• If the flashlight is blinking, not switching to higher output modes, or not turning on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is discharged - charge it.
  • The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The flashlight body is loose - tighten it.
