Fenix CP50R rechargeable lantern, 5500 lm, black
Fenix CP50R Lantern with an impressive luminous flux of 5500 lumens and a beam distance of 450 meters is an exceptional light source not only for autocamping. Thanks to the unique dual reflector system, you can precisely illuminate long distances and simultaneously comfortably light up the wide surroundings – either simultaneously or each separately. Furthermore, for warning and safety functions, this light includes additional lights: red triangular light, yellow flashing light, and green steady light. The design with dual rotary switches allows for smooth adjustment of brightness and light temperature, providing perfect illumination for every situation. Its 360-degree rotatable magnetic handle allows for easy carrying, hanging, or attachment to ferrous surfaces. With two rechargeable 21700 batteries, offering up to 10 days of operation on a single charge, IP66 protection, and high impact resistance, the CP50R is the perfect combination of functionality and durability for every adventure.
All parameters of the flashlight (luminous flux, battery runtime, waterproofness, beam distance, and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Usage of Fenix CP50R
An insulating cap may be present on the batteries inside the lantern from the factory; remove it before first use.
Turning on/off and changing output - To turn on the white light, turn the large rotary switch clockwise. By rotating it, you can smoothly adjust the white light output from minimum to maximum. To decrease the output, rotate the switch counterclockwise. To turn off, rotate the switch counterclockwise to the end position. If the lantern is off, press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds to activate the warning modes. Warning modes can then be cycled by pressing the electronic switch. The lantern will turn off again by pressing and holding the electronic switch.
Switching white light modes - When the lantern is on with white light, pressing the electronic switch cycles through the lighting modes: floodlight → spotlight → combined mode (floodlight and spotlight).
Changing the light tint of the floodlight - When the lantern is on in floodlight or combined mode, the white light tint of the floodlight can be smoothly changed by rotating the smaller rotary switch from warm to cool tint.
Memory for the last set mode - When turned on with white light, the lantern remembers the last used white light mode (floodlight, spotlight, combined). When turned on to warning modes, the lantern remembers the last set warning output. The lantern remembers the last set color temperature for the floodlight, provided the small control was not moved when it was off.
Battery replacement - Pull up the ring on the bottom of the lantern and unscrew it counterclockwise to open the battery compartment. Insert the batteries with the negative pole (-) facing inwards, then screw the battery compartment back on.
Charging - Open the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the lantern's port. After charging is complete, replace the dust cover. During charging, the indicators flash from left to right to show the charging progress. Once charging is complete, all four indicators will light up steadily. The lantern can be used while charging, but the maximum output is limited to 500 lumens. Normal charging time is approximately 3 hours when using an 18W supported USB power source.
Power bank function - Open the dust cover and plug a USB-C or USB-A charging cable into the corresponding port of the lantern, and connect the other end of the cable to the device you want to charge. After charging is complete, replace the dust cover. During discharge, the indicator lights flash from right to left to show the discharge status. When the battery voltage drops below 3V, the power bank function will automatically turn off. The lantern can be used during discharge. The USB-C port supports protocols: PD3.0/PD2.0/QC3.0/QC2.0, the USB-A port supports: QC3.0/QC2.0. The maximum output during discharge is up to 18W (5V / 3A, 9V / 2A, 12V / 1.5A). USB-A and USB-C ports can be used simultaneously for discharge. The USB-A port cannot discharge if the lantern is simultaneously charging via the USB-C port.
Battery level indication - When the lantern is turned on, or after a short press of the switch when the lantern is off, the indicator lights will illuminate for three seconds. If four lights are on, the batteries are charged to over 80%. Three lights indicate 60-80% capacity, two lights indicate 40-60%, one light indicates 20-40%, and one flashing light indicates 1-20%.
Intelligent overheat protection - If the lantern's temperature exceeds 54°C, the output will automatically decrease. Once the temperature drops below 54°C, the output will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the lantern will reduce the brightness to a lower level. Upon reaching the lowest output, one battery level indicator will start flashing to remind you to recharge or replace the batteries.
Notice
- Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty.
- We recommend using high-quality Li-ion batteries with Fenix 21700 protection circuits (ARB-L21 series).
- Never mix different types and capacities of batteries in the lantern. Remove the batteries from the lantern if you will not be using it for an extended period. If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher output modes, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost depleted – recharge them.
- The electrical contacts are dirty – clean them with an alcohol-soaked cotton swab.
