The Rab Ionosphere 5.5 inflatable sleeping pad is very well insulated and surprisingly compact when packed. It combines air filling with aluminum reflective technology and synthetic insulation, so it reliably retains heat even during challenging mountain nights. Thanks to its comfortable rectangular shape and higher outer chambers, it offers a stable and secure sleep, whether you sleep on your side, back or stomach.
The sleeping pad is equipped with a low two-way valve for quick inflation and deflation and comes with a pump bag, so inflation is quick and hygienic. The surface material has a pleasant grip and an anti-slip print that limits the sleeping bag from slipping during the night. This is a durable three- to four-season mat suitable for alpine climbs, winter sleeping in the mountains, trekking and multi-day backpacking trips.
