IT IS IMPORTANT TO BE OUTSIDE, THE OTHER IS IRELEVANT... In 1985, a group of siblings from British Columbia travelled the west coast to San Diego, where they founded GSI Outdoors. They started with a few pieces of blue enamel tableware and superficial knowledge of the camping equipment. The company soon began to grow, focusing on design, manufacturing, sales and marketing.
