The ABUS Taipan cycling helmet is a universal gravel and road helmet designed for sporty riding and long adventure rides off the asphalt. The lightweight and strong in-mold construction with an EPS foam core and a polycarbonate outer shell offers reliable protection, while the bottom edge is additionally protected against scratches and impacts. The Acti Cage™ internal structural reinforcement allows for large ventilation holes without compromising stability, so the helmet remains airy even at challenging speeds.
The sophisticated Forced Air Cooling system with interconnected ventilation channels ensures efficient airflow and a pleasant climate on the head. The internal Floating Pad padding is attached at several points, making it more flexible, better ventilated and increasing comfort. The padding is removable and washable, so you can easily keep the helmet clean. Aerodynamic Flow Straps™ reduce drag and noise, and together with the classic push-in chin strap, they ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
The helmet adapts precisely to the head using the Zoom™ Spin adjustment system with a rotating wheel at the back. Thanks to the Ponytail Fit solution, it is also suitable for riders with long hair, braids or buns. The practical Front Eyewear Port on the front of the helmet allows for safe and aerodynamic storage of cycling glasses during a ride or break. A reflective sticker increases visibility in low-light conditions, and the design is ready for an optional magnetic tail light for even better safety.
