Tectal Race is a model in the POC portfolio designed for trail / enduro of all performance categories. Similar to the Octal, it is constructed with a unibody construction, which guarantees low weight and extreme rigidity of the helmet as a whole, because the PC shell fully surrounds the EPS core - no weak point. The main difference from the classic tectal is the proportion of aramid in the entire shell of the helmet. Another benefit is the overall coverage of the head - deeper with greater coverage of the nape of the neck and the temple area. Compared to the previous generation, it also undoubtedly experienced significantly better ventilation and a certain weight saving. Undoubtedly one of the safest enduro helmets on the market, as I am used to with POC, which will find its supporters. I recommend trying it with Crave glasses!
