Fenix ARE-D1 (Li-ion, NiMH) USB Charger
Compact universal USB charger Fenix ARE-D1 for one Li-ion or NiMH / NiCd battery. Charging current up to 2000 mA (for NiMh / NiCd, the maximum charging current is 1000 mA), depending on the capabilities of the USB source to which you will connect the charger (computer, mains USB adapter, mobile phone charger with micro USB). When a charged battery is inserted, it also functions as a backup power source (power bank) for charging USB devices (mobile phones, MP3 players, and others). Thanks to its compact dimensions, the charger is particularly suitable for travel. It automatically recognizes the inserted battery type and selects the optimal charging algorithm. The charger is equipped with an LCD display that shows the current battery voltage, the type of batteries being charged, and other information.
The charger can charge the following Li-ion battery types: 26650, 22650, 25500, 21700, 18650, 17670, 18700, 14650, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340, RCR123 and NiMH batteries of sizes AAA, AA, C. The charger can also charge Li-ion 21700 and 20700 batteries with protection circuits.
USB Li-ion Charger Parameters
- One charging channel.
- Charging current up to 2000 mA (depending on the USB source capabilities). The charging current can be manually selected (500 mA, 1000 mA, 2000 mA).
- The charger can charge, for example, the following Li-ion batteries: 26650, 18650 Li-ion, 14500, 16340, RCR123. It can also charge button-cell and micro-button-cell batteries.
- Protection against reverse battery insertion, short circuit, and overcharging.
- LCD display shows charging progress, charging time, charging current, and voltage.
- Dimensions 30 x 120 x 38 millimeters.
- Weight: 61 grams
- The package includes the charger and a USB cable.
Battery Charging
Connect the charger to a USB port. The display will light up. After inserting the battery, the display will show the battery type and charging status. The button is used to switch the charging current in the order: 1000 mA - 500 mA - 2000 mA. The charging current can be selected during the first 8 seconds of charging (the battery icon on the display flashes).
Power Bank Function (USB Output)
- When a charged Li-ion battery is inserted, it also functions as a backup USB power source for charging mobile phones and other USB devices.
- Standard output current up to 2000 mA (voltage 5V).
- To activate the power bank, simply insert a charged Li-ion battery into the slot and connect a USB cable to the USB output on the charger.
- By long-pressing the button, the power bank function is activated with a limited output current of 100 mA (the display shows flashing "USB 5V"). This mode is suitable for charging small portable electronics such as electronic bracelets, watches, headphones, and similar devices.
Notice
- Do not charge Li-ion cells that have been excessively discharged (below 2V).
- When using the charger, observe safety precautions.
- We recommend using high-quality protected Li-ion batteries.
- Not intended for charging LiFePO4 batteries.

Vynikajuca nabíjačka, používam na Li-Ion 18650 ktoré mám v prednom svietidle, nabíja ale všetko možné vrátane NiMh článkov. Na výber sú 3 nabíjacie prúdy 0,5; 1,0 a 2,0A, samozrejme podľa pripojeného zdroja. Mal som ju so sebou na bikepacking tripe, osvedčila sa. Vojde do prednej kapsičky takže som ju počas dňa používal aj ako powerbanku lebo som viezol ďalšie 2 kusy článkov 18650. Z NiMh to samozrejme powerbanku nerobí, len z Li-Ion. Bez problémov som dobil mobil aj cyklonavigaciu. Na displeji zobrazuje údaje o nabíjanom/vybijanom článku takže človek má prehľad ako na tom s energiou je. Nabíjačka má micro USB port na pripojenie zdroja keď slúži ako nabíjačka a USB-A port keď slúži ako powerbanka. Priložený káblik je tiež teda USB-A - micro-USB.
