Fenix HL30 XP-G3 headlamp
The third generation of the Fenix HL30 headlamp is equipped with a new Cree XP-G3 diode and delivers a luminous flux of up to 300 lumens (ANSI). Power is provided by two pencil batteries, which are placed inside the headlamp. A total of 8 power modes are available, including SOS for emergency use and red light that do not interfere with eye adaptation to darkness. In the lowest 4 lumen mode, the HL30 lasts up to 200 hours (more than 8 days). Thanks to the electronics with digital constant regulation, the light output does not decrease when the batteries are slowly discharged and remains the same until they are completely discharged. Another advantage of the headlamp is the good water resistance corresponding to the IP67 standard. The headlamp strap is equipped with reflective elements that ensure good omnidirectional visibility when moving on the road. From the inside, a rubber fabric is woven into the strap, which ensures a stable and comfortable fit on the head. A special collimator creates a wide light cone with an afterglow of 50 meters, the Fenix HL30 will serve as a headlamp, a headlamp for camping and hiking, and the red LED will surely be appreciated by astronomers. All headlamp parameters (luminous flux, battery life, water resistance, afterglow and impact resistance) determined in accordance with ANSI / NEMA FL 1-2009. Parameters of the headlight Fenix HL30 XP-G3 The top powerful white LED Cree XP-G3 and red LED from Nichia are used, both with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Six white light modes: measured with 2500mAh NiMH rechargeable batteries: 300 lumens (7 hours) -> 130 lumens (12 hours) -> 70 lumens (35 hours) -> 30 lumens (65 hours) -> 4 lumens (200 hours) - SOS signal measured with packed alkaline batteries: 300 lumens (4.5 hours) -> 130 lumens (9 hours) -> 70 lumens (41 hours) -> 30 lumens (71 hours) -> 4 lumens (200 hours) - SOS signal Two red light modes: 1 lumen constant red light -> 1 lumen red flashing Collimator for wide light cone after 50 meters (610 cd) Digitally regulated for constant brightness. It uses two pencil batteries (type AA - alkaline or rechargeable NiMH). These batteries are cheap and widely available. Lithium pencil batteries are not recommended by the manufacturer. Convenient control with two switches, the headlamp can be switched directly to the red light mode. The headlamp can be tilted in the holder and thus set the desired direction of illumination. The strap is equipped with reflective elements and has a knitted rubber fabric on the inside for a stable fit on the head. Made of durable plastic and aviation hardened aluminum type T6. Shockproof from a height of 1 meter. Weight 73.5 grams (without battery). Waterproof and dustproof according to the IP67 standard (immersion to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes). The package includes straps, a spare seal and two alkaline batteries. Use The headlamp is switched on by holding down the right button for half a second. It always switches to the lowest mode, the other lighting modes are switched cyclically by pressing the right button. To switch off, hold down the button for half a second. Pressing the left button turns the headlamp into red light mode. If the headlamp is off, it can be switched directly to red light mode by holding down the left button for half a second. By pressing this button again, it is possible to cycle between a constant red light - white SOS and red flashing. Hold down the button to turn off the headlamp again. The control buttons can be locked to prevent them from being switched on spontaneously, e.g. when transporting in luggage - hold down one or both buttons for 3 seconds. Then the red LED flashes 4 times. To unlock, press and hold both buttons for 3 seconds. Battery replacement - tilt the headlamp to the maximum position. Open the back cover, place the batteries in the headlamp (make sure the polarity is correct) and close the cover. Note With completely new alkaline batteries, the low modes may not work (the battery voltage is higher than the LED voltage in the low mode), this phenomenon will disappear when they are partially discharged. This behavior does not occur with rechargeable NiMH batteries. Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. Use only high-quality pencil batteries to prevent damage to the luminaire, for example due to battery leakage. Remove the batteries from the lamp if you will not be using it for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. Otherwise, some lower quality batteries may damage the headlamp. If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not illuminate, this may be due to one of the following reasons: The batteries are low - replace them. The contacts in the battery holder are clogged - clean them with a cotton ball soaked in alcohol. Warranty 5 years warranty.
