Product description

The full-suspension model Intrigue E+ Pro changes to Intrigue X E+ Pro. New is the larger wheel diameter of 29", which is used in sizes S to L, while the smallest size XS will have a wheel diameter of 27.5". The new EnergyPak Smart batteries have an increased capacity of 625 Wh. This model is primarily intended for driving in more demanding terrain, where it will help you climb even the steepest "handstands", and then downhill thanks to the Maestro suspension, it will offer a lot of fun.

The Intrigue X E+ Pro is built on an ALUXX SL aluminum frame with a carbon upper swingarm and provides 140mm of travel via Maestro suspension. The most modern generation of Maestro suspension brings one fundamental innovation - thanks to the so-called flip chip, you can easily adjust the geometry of the frame for your riding style or the terrain you ride most often. You can have a steeper or lower head tube angle - while a steeper fork angle is good for downhills, lower forks will improve the bike's stability on descents. A fork with a 150 mm stroke perfectly takes care of the damping of bumps in the front. The central SyncDrive Pro Yamaha motor has a high torque of 80 Nm and offers support up to 360%. It takes its energy from the EnergyPak 625 Wh lithium battery, which is fully integrated and can be found under the down tube. For very fast charging of the battery, you get a 6-amp SmartCharger charger with the wheel. In addition, the wheel frame is ready to install a second EnergyPak Plus battery, which adds an additional 250 Wh for even greater range (this battery will be offered as an optional accessory). In addition to the five riding modes that you choose manually, you also have the Smart Assist mode or fully automatic adjustment of the support height and, of course, the walk assist function, which makes it easier to handle the bike while walking. The Giant RideControl Ergo control unit allows the additional installation of a compatible display, which will be offered as an optional accessory. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, you can then pair your bike with the Giant RideControl app for smartphones (Android and iOS) – this app will offer other useful features such as accurate battery status, the ability to adjust the support height in all riding modes according to your preferences, records of your rides or fitness features including analysis of your performance. ANT+ connectivity will allow connecting the e-bike to some devices that use this modern communication protocol (cycling computers, sports navigation systems and sports testers). As for the bike's equipment, both offered models have a 1x12 shifter with a wide range of gears, a telescopic saddle with handlebar controls is a must, and wider rims and tires are also important for greater comfort and safe off-road riding - both models therefore have tubeless tires in the size 2.6" on rims with an inner width of 30 mm.

Great Maestro suspension

The Maestro suspension is fully active and highly sensitive, making off-road driving more enjoyable and fun. This system works on the principle of a virtual (floating) center of rotation of the rear structure, which eliminates unwanted rocking when pedaling - thanks to this, you do not lose energy while driving and go smoother, faster and with less effort. The Maestro uses shock absorbers with a direct attachment to the upper rocker (the so-called trunnion mount) and a lower gear ratio - the result is even higher sensitivity and better damping.

Adjustable geometry

The most modern generation of Maestro suspension brings one fundamental innovation - thanks to the so-called flip chip, you can easily adjust the geometry of the frame for your riding style or the terrain you ride most often. You can have the head tube angle steeper or more low, which also affects the seat tube angle and the height of the center of pedaling or BB drop (exact numbers can be found below in the geometry description). While a steeper fork angle is suitable for descents, lower forks will improve the bike's stability on descents.

How we ship bikes

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.

Our bike shipment is as follows:

The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
The bicycle is carefully packed back into a box and shipped
If you order a bicycle for in store pick up or home delivery, the bicycle will be waiting put together, checked and ready to use for you.
If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
1. Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
2. Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
3. Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
4. Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
5. Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
6. Mount seatpost to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
7. Inflate the tyres or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
8. Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
9. Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
