Zipp + Goodyear XPLR SLICK 700x40C tire, TLR, kevlar, black/brown
The Goodyear XPLR Slick is part of a wheel and tire system specifically designed for gravel. It is a semi-slick racing tire designed for the unique Zipp 303 XPLR SW and S wheels to provide the fastest combination on smooth to medium-rough surfaces. Its best performance is on dry surfaces. Gravel wheel systems today are mostly slightly stiffer versions of what exists on the road: light, stiff, narrow, and aero. The problem is that gravel riding generates harmful vibrations that slow you down and increase fatigue over time. Furthermore, gravel tires generally negate the aerodynamic advantages of traditionally narrow road rims. The Slick is designed to measure 40mm on a 303 XPLR wheel. The new XPLR wheel and tire system takes a completely new approach, optimizing component dimensions to achieve the fastest setup on the market. In addition to unmatched aerodynamic advantages on gravel, the resulting rim width also allows for lower tire pressure, which helps filter out vibrations for extra energy savings. The XPLR Slick offers the most aero gravel setup with 303 XPLR SW and W wheels and is best suited for racing on dry, smooth gravel. Its slick center provides fast rolling, while the texture and cornering blocks ensure a certain level of confidence. The light and supple construction enhances ride quality. M:Stenewall reinforcements in the sidewalls provide protection against punctures and pinch flats, allowing the rider to corner with the lowest possible air pressure. Finally, the tire bead dimension is designed to ensure easy mounting and a secure fit on Zipp TSS rims. Only approved tires can be used on XPLR wheels.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
