The WTB Nano is a gravel tire with a kevlar bead whose main advantage is speed, and again, speed. The fine tread pattern across the entire tire surface ensures low rolling resistance. Raised knobs on its sides, in turn, ensure confident handling and stability in corners.
The WTB Nano can also be used as a tubeless variant. The WTB Nano can be inflated to low pressures, thus achieving a smooth ride, for example, on gravel. This also reduces rolling resistance. The WTB Nano is therefore the ideal tire for those who love fast riding on paved gravel roads.
New WTB tire protection - SG2
SG2 tire protection, in addition to its low weight, also provides excellent protection against punctures and flats. Such tires have a high TPI value of 120 - meaning threads per inch, which indicates the density of fibers in the tire casing. This new protective layer is lightweight and contains an ultra-thin nylon insert that covers the entire tire surface from bead to bead. This allows you to ride on any surface without fear of punctures.
How much more durable are the new SG2 tires? Laboratory tests show that the addition of the SG2 protective layer provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2. Gravel rides are becoming more frequent and longer. Riders are not afraid of challenging terrain. That's why WTB offers durable tires that will support you on any surface.

PSI - indicates the pressure to which the manufacturer recommends inflating the tire. 1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI
TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
