The limited edition POLARTEC® x SPORTFUL Power cycling jersey was created in response to the challenges faced by anyone who rides during the colder months: maintaining temperature without overheating, staying dry even at high intensity, and having a layer that behaves naturally when riding in a bent-over position. The innovative Polartec® Power Dry™ material plays the main role in this model. It's a lightweight, grid-like fabric with a system of internal channels that move moisture away from the skin towards the surface. It doesn't feel like a classic fleece on the body; it's thinner, dries faster, and doesn't reabsorb sweat into the fibers, so it doesn't become cold the moment you stop pedaling. It's ideal especially for rides that alternate between long climbs and descents. The material's properties are most evident then, as it effectively prevents cooling down after exertion.
The cut is designed with the riding position in mind. The front is shorter, and the back is extended to perfectly cover the lower back while riding. The sleeves are shaped at a natural angle to the handlebars, preventing fabric tension at the wrists. The collar protects the neck from the wind but isn't unnecessarily high, making the jersey easy to combine with a neck gaiter.
There is a separate zippered chest pocket, suitable for small items you need to keep handy. The triple rear pockets are integrated so they don't disrupt the jersey's shape while remaining sufficiently voluminous. All zippers are from the world-renowned Japanese manufacturer YKK® and are equipped with a pull tab, allowing for quick ventilation adjustments even with gloves on.
The jersey works best in a temperature range of 0 to 10°C. You can wear it on its own or complement it with a windproof vest or a lightweight membrane jacket. It's suitable for road and gravel riding, autumn training, winter long rides, and shorter rides in cold weather where rapid sweat wicking is needed without the risk of hypothermia.
