The stiffness of the sole is not designed for World Enduro Series tracks, but rather for everyday trails and some bikepark. In short, for riders looking for comfortable footwear with lifestyle elements.
Women's models are not just a copy of men's models. RC is aware of the differences in the body structure of women, men, and children, which is why women's models are developed separately. So the entire shoe has different dimensions in all directions, but of course also a different stiffness of construction, including the sole.
The construction of the Accomplice model features an original integrated tongue that creates a sock-like shoe that you slip into. The tongue smoothly transitions around the ankle in the heel and vice versa. This ensures a very high level of comfort and complete elimination of dirt ingress.
Unlike its competitors in this price range, Accomplice uses a welded construction, not stitched sole to upper. Accomplice still draws from higher-end enduro models, which consist of three layers, not two. Sole, midsole with EVA foam, and upper. All with minimal seams, with a predominance of welding for durability and integrity.
Lacing with anti-slip laces. The tongue has an eyelet for storing the laces so they don't move freely and come into contact with the bike or get caught on obstacles.
Top models from RC use D3O protection in the insole, which other manufacturers don't have. But Accomplice doesn't fall short either. The insole has EVA foam panels in the heel and arch area. It protects against impacts or missed jumps and subsequent heel strikes. Thanks to the EVA foam, the foot is less tired and less prone to injuries.
Clip Grip sole with a distinctive hexagonal tread. The Clip Grip sole compound is used in models designed for SPD and has an ideal balance of grip, durability, and stiffness for forward power transfer. The result of development with Rubber Kinetics (Good Year). 42 mm wide and extremely long cleat pocket for complete confidence in clipping into the pedal in any situation. Inserted plastic housing under the cleat mounting for additional sole support.
