The HJC wind tunnel testing laboratory measures air forces under various riding conditions to improve helmet performance.
SELFIT – an automatic self-fitting system that represents a revolutionary technology in bicycle helmet fitting. Once the helmet is adjusted to your head, it does not require further adjustment, even if your head moves during the ride. The SELFIT system automatically adjusts the gap, ensuring consistent fit and comfort for your head.
Five snap fitting positions ensure a consistent fit and comfort for all different head shapes and sizes. The rider can precisely adjust the fit, resulting in a helmet that will be ideally suited for a perfect ride every time the ride is repeated.
COOLPATH – a new technology replacing internal padding that allows cool air to flow around the head, increasing comfort during the ride. The flow of cool air and the lightness of the helmet improve the fit and provide an excellent riding experience. A certain amount of air passes through the front intake vent, then circulates inside the helmet, and finally exits through the exhaust vent. The internal airflow is thus increased to cool the head and dissipate heat.
SLID – HJC has developed a safety feature by adding a special GEL material. SLID is placed in the inner space of the helmet to reduce the amount of energy delivered to the brain by ensuring rotational function. The advanced GEL material inside the SLID insert has cushioning properties. Thanks to this, minimal forces and energy reaching the brain can be achieved by dispersing the impact.
