The ABUS Taipan cycling helmet is a versatile gravel and road helmet designed for sporty riding as well as long adventurous off-road tours. Its lightweight and robust construction, made with in-mold technology featuring an EPS foam core and a polycarbonate outer shell, offers reliable protection. The lower edge is additionally protected against scratches and impacts. The internal structural reinforcement, Acti Cage™, allows for large ventilation openings without compromising stability, ensuring the helmet remains airy even at a demanding pace.
The sophisticated Forced Air Cooling system with interconnected ventilation channels ensures effective airflow and a pleasant climate on your head. The internal Floating Pad padding is attached at several points, making it more flexible, better ventilated, and increasing comfort. The padding is removable and washable, allowing you to easily keep the helmet clean. The aerodynamic Flow Straps™ reduce air resistance and noise, and together with the classic chin buckle, they ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
The helmet precisely adjusts to your head with the Zoom™ Spin adjustment system, featuring a dial at the back. Thanks to the Ponytail Fit design, it is also suitable for riders with long hair, ponytails, or buns. The practical Front Eyewear Port on the front of the helmet allows for secure and aerodynamic storage of cycling glasses during rides or breaks. A reflective sticker increases visibility in low-light conditions, and the construction is ready for an optional magnetic rear light for even better safety.
