Giant Explore E+ 2 STA 28 electric bike, alpine green
Giant Explore E+ 2 STA 28 e-bike
The new generation of Giant Explore E+ e-bikes is designed for adventurous trips, daily commuting, and exploring new places. Modern design, high comfort, and advanced technologies provide smooth riding support, ample energy for long routes, and the freedom to go even further without limitations. The drive is handled by the SyncDrive Yamaha central motor with a torque of up to 85 Nm, which provides a natural feel and smooth assistance. There are five support levels or the intelligent Smart Assist mode, which automatically adjusts the power to the current riding conditions. Precise assistance delivery is ensured by a six-sensor system that optimizes energy consumption and increases riding efficiency.
The integrated EnergyPak battery with a capacity of 625 Wh is elegantly placed in the down tube and utilizes an advanced BMS energy management system for efficient and safe charging.
Modern control is provided by the RideControl Ergo 4 unit on the handlebars, complemented by the integrated RideControl Go 2 controller and the color display RideDash EVO 2.0 built into the stem. Front and rear lights are a matter of course.
Suitable not only for commuting, but also for weekend trips outside the city. You can ride on cycle paths, gravel and paved roads and during your weekend activities. If you ride more frequently, expect more regular fine-tuning.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.
