Li-ion rechargeable batteries are characterized by very high capacity, they do not suffer from memory effect. Li-ion in size 18650 are the best choice in terms of stored energy with regard to the dimensions and weight of the accumulator. These accumulators are especially suitable for the Fenix TK35 UE V2.0 LED flashlight.
Fenix accumulator protection consists of internal safety mechanisms and protection electronics. Added electronic circuits prevent overcharging of the cell, its excessive discharge, and short circuits or excessive current draw. If the battery electronics detect that the limit values have been reached, it safely disconnects the cell.
Internal protection consists of a separator, PTC thermal protection, and a special anti-explosion valve. If the gas pressure in the cell exceeds a certain limit, the internal separator disconnects the electrodes inside the battery, thereby effectively interrupting the exothermic reaction, and the anti-explosion valve releases the overpressure of gas outside the accumulator. Thanks to the combination of electronic and mechanical (thermal and pressure) protection, Fenix batteries are among the safest available Li-ion accumulators.
In terms of size, the 18650 accumulator roughly corresponds to two CR123A lithium batteries, which is why it is often used in flashlights as a rechargeable alternative to these primary cells. Please check the first time if your device supports this cell. 18650 3000 mAh accumulators are primarily intended for the Fenix TK35 UE V2.0 LED flashlight, but also for other Fenix LED flashlights E28R, PD32 V2.0, PD35, TK11 TAC, TK16, TK25 UV, TK25 Red, TK26R, TK75, FD41, LD30, SD11, SD20. Fenix HM60R, HM61R, HM65R, HM65R-T headlamps, CL26R, CL30R lanterns, and Fenix BC21R and BC30 bicycle lights.
Note, due to a length of 70 mm and diameter, it may not fit into some older models - for example, Fenix PD31, TK11, TK21.
