It allows you to leave the fork steerer tube longer above the stem, which is ideal especially for carbon steerers and for riders who want to have a reserve for later adjustments to their riding position or for a potential bike sale.
Smooth shapes without sharp edges are complemented by high-quality 6061-T6 aluminum material and a low weight of 12 g (cap + bolt). The cap is designed for reliable use with a recommended bolt torque of 2–3 Nm with a little grease on the threads.
