FOX shock mounting kit Alloy, 8 mm
The original Fox alloy mounting kit is designed for secure and precise mounting of the Fox rear shock to the bike frame. The three-piece design minimizes friction and eliminates unwanted play in the shock eyelet, contributing to increased rear triangle stiffness and longer bushing life. The kit is designed for use with an 8 mm diameter pin and is engineered to ensure precise centering of the shock relative to the frame.
During installation, it is recommended to lightly grease the contact surfaces with a suitable grease and check the condition of the bushing in the shock eyelet. If persistent play in the mounting persists, the worn bushing must be replaced, and when tightening the pins, always adhere to the torque values specified by the bicycle manufacturer.
