The original five-piece FOX mounting kit made of aluminum alloy is designed for precise and secure mounting of the FOX rear shock absorber into the bicycle frame with an 8 mm pin diameter. Spacers and sealing elements help eliminate play in the joint, increase the stability of the shock absorber in the frame, and contribute to smooth suspension operation without unwanted noises.
Corrosion-resistant and mechanically durable aluminum alloy combined with precise surface machining ensures a long service life for the mounting hardware and the DU bushing in the shock eyelet. During installation, it is advisable to lightly grease the friction surfaces and follow the bicycle manufacturer's recommended installation procedures.
