FOX Air Volume Tuning Kit service set for Trek IsoStrut shocks (2020+)
The original Fox Air Volume Tuning Kit is designed for fine-tuning the air spring progression of Trek IsoStrut shocks from model year 2020 onwards, used for example on Trek Supercaliber XC bikes. Different sized inserts allow you to adapt the spring curve to the rider's weight and the type of terrain, increase support at the end of the travel, and prevent harsh bottom-outs on impacts. A properly adjusted IsoStrut system improves pedaling efficiency, rear wheel traction, and rear triangle stability on technical climbs and descents.
The inserts are installed directly into the air chamber and change its internal volume, thus affecting the shock's stiffness at the end of the travel. The kit is made of durable technical polymer and is an original Fox / Trek spare part, providing a reliable and repeatable result when tuning suspension. When installing, it is important to follow the recommended service procedures, especially completely releasing pressure from the chamber, ensuring cleanliness of the sliding surfaces, and properly lubricating the seals with appropriate grease.
