CeramicSpeed UFO Speed Chain KMC XFlat chain, 12/13-speed, 126 links, for SRAM
The CeramicSpeed UFO Speed Chain KMC XFlat for SRAM 12S+13S is a top-optimized road and gravel chain with a wax treatment that reduces friction, saves watts, and provides "free speed" compared to standard factory lubrication. Thanks to the special Speed WAX compound developed by in-house chemists and verified by laboratory and real-world tests, it offers exceptionally smooth running and high efficiency on long distances.
Before the wax optimization, the chain is carefully selected, completely cleaned, and run-in at the headquarters in Denmark. The UFO treatment can save approximately 2-5 W over a distance of 650 km compared to regular lubrication. After approximately 650 km, CeramicSpeed UFO DRIP All Conditions or Wet Conditions lubricant must be applied to maintain maximum efficiency throughout the chain's lifespan. The treatment is not optimized for wet and muddy conditions, so the chain must be re-lubricated as soon as possible after riding in such conditions to prevent corrosion.
