CeramicSpeed T47/86 Inboard 30 mm Road Bottom Bracket, Black
The T47 threaded bottom bracket utilizes the oversized PF30 and EVO386 interface, but with the advantage and peace of mind of a threaded interface. The T47/86 places the bearings outboard of the frame and is compatible with 85.5mm wide Trek frames as well as standard 86mm wide T47 Inboard frames. T47 is a standard created by custom frame manufacturers. It has threading, a 47mm internal diameter, and is 85mm wide. It has the design advantages of being oversized and wide, but also the practical advantages of threading. This kit pairs these BBs with 30mm spindle cranks. The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed in. There are two bearing options. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3-micron thick coating placed on top of these hardened steel races for increased durability and even less friction. This BB is compatible with 86mm frames and also compatible with TREK T47 85.5mm wide frames. Bottom bracket tool: BBT-47.
