The T47 threaded bottom bracket utilizes the oversized PF30 and EVO386 interface, but with the advantage and peace of mind of a threaded interface. The T47/68 places the bearings outside the frame shell and is compatible with the T47 68mm external frame design. T47 is a standard created by custom frame manufacturers. It has threads, a 47mm internal diameter, and a width of 68mm. It has the construction advantages of being oversized and wide, but also the practical advantages of threads. The cups have CeramicSpeed bearings pressed in. There are two bearing options. The standard bearing has CeramicSpeed balls and hardened steel races. The coated bearing has the same balls running on a 3-micron thick coating placed on top of these hardened steel races for increased durability and even less friction. This BB is compatible with 68mm frames. Bottom bracket installation tool: BBT-69.
