Oproti organickým shimanám trochu rozdiel. Tieto kellysy sú pri väčšom zatlačení páky kúsavejšie, takže sa mi zdajú možno o trošku silnejšie, shimano zaberajú postupne (dávkovateľnejšie). Ale čo mi vadí, je hlučnosť. Shimano D03 boli celý čas ticho, pričom kellysy je počuť, v mokre to je tragédia. A pri dlhšom zjazde veľmi hučia, aj brzdný účinok pomaly klesá. V tomto ohľade boli shimano lepšie. Ale mimo tohto je brzdný účinok super.
