The Shimano RT-CL700 is a road brake rotor with Ice Technologies Freeza technology for stable braking performance even on long and demanding descents. The multi-layer sandwich construction of stainless steel and aluminum alloy effectively dissipates heat, reducing the risk of overheating, noise, and rotor deformation, contributing to a longer lifespan of brake components. Robust aluminum alloy arms increase stiffness and reliability in demanding conditions. The rotor is suitable for front and rear use and is compatible with both polymer and metallic brake pads.

Mounting using the Center Lock system is quick and precise, with the external lockring with external serration ensuring a firm and secure attachment to the hub.
