Even new bikes equipped with top-of-the-line components are usually supplied with bottom brackets of inferior bearing and plastic cup quality.
Even with perfect maintenance, these steel bearings will simply not spin as effectively as our high-quality ceramic bearings.
Main advantages of Kogel ceramic bearings:
Guaranteed performance warranty.
Kogel ceramic bearings are more symmetrical (i.e. round) and manufactured with tighter tolerances than steel bearings.
They are more efficient at power transfer than standard bearings.
Kogel also supplies service kits and seals so that the bearings can be serviced and last as long as possible.
Silicon nitride (the material used to make the bearing balls) does not corrode and is extremely resistant to wear.
BB Boost® technology. Positioning of the bearings as close as possible to the crank arms to increase stiffness and durability.
Proof that KOGEL Bearings believes in its products is the two-year minimum warranty for smooth operation (after the first year, professional servicing must be performed, after which the warranty is extended for another year).
