Material composition:
- Main fabric: 64% polyamide 35% elastane 1% polyester
- Front and back upper part: 67% polyester 33% elastane
- Lining: 100% polyester
- Gusset: 80% polyamide 20% elastane
This is most evident at the leg opening, where a gripper is woven into the fabric to hold the leg in place, while the rest of the leg is smooth for speed in the water. This technique allows the lower part to be made from a single piece of fabric. And in wind tunnel testing on the bike, it was also among the fastest. However, the DTU riders also wanted extra cooling on the upper body during the run, so there is a different fabric on the chest and back that stays cooler and wicks moisture away more effectively. This garment was developed for pure speed and is suitable in every discipline.
