Ghost LECTOR FS LC Essential 29 Bike
Full suspension XC special Ghost LECTOR FS – designed for maximum pedaling efficiency so that even the toughest races become more than just a race against time... they become a pleasure.It doesn't deny the genes inherited from its twin, the hardtail Ghost LECTOR – a legend of the XC World Cups. Now, combined with excellent traction thanks to the Traction Link® 120mm rear suspension (sizes M, L, XL) and 107mm (sizes XS, S), ensuring absolute control over the bike in every situation. So that even the longest and toughest races can be mastered brilliantly and with confidence.
The rider will be placed by the perfect geometry called SuperFit®. Behind the SuperFit® geometry lies a carefully created algorithm based on the evaluation of tens of thousands of biometric data from riders of various heights. The lengths of the frame tubes and their mutual angles are designed to create the ideal frame geometry for every body height. The next step is the optimized length of the cranks, stem, and handlebar width depending on the frame size.
Super sensitive Traction Link® suspension (Virtual Pivot). Suspension with a virtual pivot point of the rear triangle. The axis of the rear hub moves perpendicularly to the terrain (not in a circle) when the rear shock is activated. Traction Link® was developed with the aim of creating a balanced relationship between pedaling and the rear suspension's performance. It very sensitively utilizes the rear travel and at the same time eliminates bobbing caused by pedaling uphill. It helps keep the rear wheel in contact with the surface even in demanding situations, thus improving rear wheel traction and increasing braking efficiency. Traction Link® allows all pedaling energy to be transferred into forward motion without energy loss. The shock absorber works effectively throughout its entire range, regardless of the terrain. It is super sensitive to small bumps, excellently handles damping during medium travel, and provides great progression at the end of the travel. All of this is just a small excerpt of the great features of the Ghost LECTOR FS.
Riding in difficult terrain, or even racing will not be a problem for this bike. Quality equipment without compromise, which will be especially usefull for adventure enthusiasts and regular racers.
Carbon frame
Lightweight, stiff and at the same time still flexible material that absorbs shocks well and increases comfort. A higher price is to be expected.
Hydraulic disc brakes
Reliable in all conditions, better modulation of the braking effect with the use of less force on the lever. Heavier weight, more demanding service.
Air fork
The best option in terms of weight and comfort. Provides more adjustment options (rebound, compression). Requires regular service - the service cycle is specified by the manufacturer.
Air shock
When buying a bicycle, it is necessary to set it to the required pressure according to the weight of the rider (specified by the manufacturer of the shock absorber, a shop assistant can also help you). Can provide several ride and suspension adjustment options. Requires regular check-up and is also more demanding to service. Compared to the spring one, it is significantly lighter.
29” wheels
The advantage is better terrain passability, better rolling and traction. However, they are heavier, which also applies to tires.

All bicycles at the MTBIKER shop are new, not-ridden, from an official distributor and with a full warranty. Several brands even offer a lifetime warranty on the frame after registration. We perform all warranty services in MTBIKER stores after personal delivery or after sending the bike (or its part) by courier.
- The bicycle is taken out of the manufacturer's box
- The bicycle is assembled, inspected and adjusted (front and rear derailleur, shock, fork, wheels,...)
- The bicycle is carefully packaged back into a box and shipped
- If you order a bike for in-person pick-up or home delivery, the bike will be waiting for you assembled and checked
- If you order a bicycle via courier to your home address, the following must be done at home:
- Take the bike out of the box and carefully remove safety material and foils
- Mount handlebar to stem (1 minute, 4 or 5 mm hex hey is needed).
- Mount front wheel to fork (1 minute, without the need of any tools if the bike has a quick release).
- Loosen the screws in the headset, straighten the stem with the front wheel, tighten the upper screw on the fork and then tighten the headset (2 minutes, 4 or 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Mount the pedals to the cranks while lubricating the thread and carefully mounting it the right way (1 minute, 8 mm hex key or 15 mm wrench).
- Mount seat post to frame (10 seconds, without needing any tools if the frame has a quick link).
- Inflate the tires or fork and shock to desired pressure (2 minutes, pump needed).
- Check the tightening of hex keys and quick-releases (2 minutes, 4 and 5 mm hex key is needed).
- Go for a test drive! Handle your bicycle carefully until you get used to it. If the bike has disc brakes, their performance will be limited from now on - they will gain their full power after 4-5 strong brakes at higher speed.

Zdravím, existuje ešte nejaká možnosť prerobiť bike ako je tento (alebo aj konkrétne tento) na 3 prevodník resp 3x10? Čo som si všimol, tak v tejto cenovej kategórii vidím už len 1 prevodníky avšak mne vyhovuje lepšie 3 prevodník. Bez ohľadu na to, že je to nepopulárne (riadim sa podľa seba, nie trhu). Predpokladám, že upevnenie prednej prehadzovačky by tomu bránilo, existuje nejaký adaptér alebo niečo?

Dobrý deň,
veru, pri tomto konkrétnom modeli to už možné nie je - tak ako píšete, primárne kvôli nemožnosti upnúť prešmykač, a v druhom rade kvôli kinematike zadnej stavby, kedy by mohlo dochádzať ku jej kontaktu s telom prešmykača.

Vďaka za odpoveď, je to škoda, tento Ghost vyzeral celkom prijateľne až na tie prevody. Zvažujem nový bike, ale do jednoprevodníku určite nepôjdem. Je síce fajn, že je tam menej komponentov/pohyblivých častí na údržbu aj odstránenie "zbytočných" duplikovaných prevodov, ale ten rozsah je jednoducho nedostačujúci + vytvára to potom zasa iné problémy typu chain line atď. Dvojprevodník mi pripadá ako najhoršie z oboch možností keď stále nedá dostatočný rozsah, ale má aj hlavný zápor trojprevodníku v podobe hmotnosti a údržby prehadzovačky. Tá hmotnosť 3. kolesa prevodníku je už zanedbateľná keď sa šetrí hmotnosť na menšej kazete alebo nepotrebnosti chain guide.

vyrobca udava rozmer max. 2.35" (samozrejme bude to individualne pre roznych vyrobcov plastov, avsak 2.3" by tam mal vojst vzdy).
