Castelli ESTREMO 2 Shoe Covers
For those days when most people are riding indoors. We used a Polartec® AirCore™ outer with a fleece lining and a full fleece inner layer to create our warmest covers ever.Our goal was to create our warmest covers ever, which meant rethinking how they are made. For wind protection, we chose Polartec® AirCore™ fabric with a fleece lining, which also allows more moisture vapor to escape than any other windproof fabric. Then we added a second fleece layer that is unmatched in bulk. These two layers are thick, so we had to create a single-layer “ankle-pocket” construction to prevent fabric rubbing against the ankle. For extra warmth, we made the boot tall and provided adequate splash protection.
