The magic comes from 15 years of Castelli's development of the Perfetto (Italian for "perfect") jacket. The Perfetto RoS 3 represents the biggest leap since the original Gabby, thanks to the exclusive new Polartec® AirCore™ fabric with a semi-permeable membrane without PFAS.
In pursuit of continuous improvement, the RoS 3 is revolutionary rather than evolutionary. It is significantly more breathable and water-resistant than its predecessor. It is also stretchier than its predecessor, allowing for a close-fitting cut without feeling tight. It provides significant ventilation thanks to zippered vents on the chest, as well as a two-way zipper that can also be opened from the bottom. It is slightly thinner than previous versions, making it better in mild temperatures, but by adding insulating layers, you'll be comfortable even in very cold conditions.
