The Yakima S52 roof racks with an aerodynamic wing-shaped profile are designed for mounting between the longitudinal roof rails. They minimize noise and air resistance, thus practically not affecting fuel consumption or driving comfort, and negligibly increasing the overall height of the vehicle. Thanks to this, you can drive with the racks year-round without needing to remove them, even when entering lower garages where often only a few centimeters of space are left.
The integrated T-track for mounting accessories is covered along its entire length to maintain quiet operation of the rack even when driving without cargo or with various equipment on the roof. The rack is lockable for increased security and does not require a separate mounting kit. A practical bonus is also the Allen key hidden directly in the base of the rack, so you always have the necessary tool at hand for both installation and removal.
