Yakima S45 crossroad bars in a sleek, wing-shaped aerodynamic design are engineered to be virtually silent while driving and have minimal impact on your vehicle's driving characteristics. They are mounted between the longitudinal roof rails, so they hardly increase the overall height of the car, which you will especially appreciate when entering garages or low spaces. Thanks to their clean, unobtrusive design, they look elegant on the vehicle and can be used all year round without any problems – even when you are not carrying anything on the roof.
The integrated T-slot for mounting accessories is covered along its entire length, eliminating annoying whistling noises while driving. Mounting and dismounting the bars is very easy, you only need an Allen key, which is conveniently stored directly in the base of the bar. In most cases, no additional mounting kit is required, with only certain specific vehicle models being an exception.
