Yakima S44 carrier
The Yakima S44 wing-shaped crossbars have minimal aerodynamic drag, ensuring they are completely silent at any vehicle speed and have virtually no impact on fuel consumption. These crossbars are mounted between the longitudinal roof rails, thus minimally increasing the overall height of the car. This makes them an ideal solution for drivers who need to maintain a low clearance, for example, when entering a garage. The crossbars are suitable for year-round use, do not detract from the vehicle's appearance, and you will practically not notice them while driving.
A unique feature is the T-slot for mounting accessories, which is covered from the inside and remains covered along its entire length, regardless of whether accessories are mounted on the crossbars. This prevents unpleasant whistling that can occur when driving with an uncovered T-slot. Mounting and dismounting the crossbars is very easy. The only tool required is an Allen key, which is cleverly hidden directly in the foot of the crossbar, so you always have it at hand. The Yakima S44 does not require any additional mounting kit.
