The Yakima S27 roof rack is an aerodynamic, wing-shaped carrying system that minimizes air resistance and thus driving noise. The bars end directly in the foot, making the entire system look very compact and elegant on the vehicle. Thanks to the patented SmartFoot system, the rack is ready for mounting on various types of roof structures, after adding the appropriate Yakima mounting kit.
The integrated T-slot for mounting accessories is covered along its entire length on the inside, regardless of whether accessories are mounted on the rack. This eliminates the typical whistling sound caused by air flowing around an open slot, and the ride remains comfortable and quiet.
