Thanks to the flexible sandwich construction, in which ultra-fine aluminum strips are embedded in a plastic coating, the mudguards are extremely robust, stiff, and corrosion-resistant. They serve as excellent protection due to their close fit to the tire. Whether on gravel roads or forest paths, the BLUEMELS Basic mudguards offer excellent all-round protection. The ESC safety system disconnects the stays if branches get caught between the spokes, preventing the wheel from jamming.

I am giving a negative rating not because the mudguard does not protect well from water... But for the overall design of the attachment, complexity and incompatibility with commonly available parts. The package also includes special screws that attach the mudguard to the bars - one was missing when unpacking - okay - I lost a few of them on the first ride - okay - but what about now??? Can I buy them somewhere? I did not find such an option on mtbiker... do I now have to buy another mudguard because of the A-frames? I have not even ridden the mudguard properly yet. It is simply terribly complicated....
Dávam negatívne hodnotenie nie preto že by blatník zle chránil pred vodou…. Ale za celkový dizajn uchytenia, zložitosti a nekompatibilnosti s bežne dostupnými súčiastkami. V balení sú take špeciálne srobky ktorými sa uchytava blatník o tyčky - už pri rozbalení jeden chýbal -okej- pri prvej jazde mi ich zopár odpadlo-okej- ale čo s tým teraz??? Viem si ich niekde kúpiť? Na mtbikerovi som takú možnosť nenašiel… mam teraz akože kupit iny blatník kvôli árovom? Ešte som blatnik ani poriadne nejazdil Proste je to hrozne komplikovane….
