The Yakima S56 crossbars in an aerodynamic wing shape are designed to be practically inaudible while driving and have minimal impact on vehicle fuel consumption. The mounting between the longitudinal rails hardly increases the overall height of the car, which you will especially appreciate when entering low garages or parking houses. Thanks to their clean design, they do not disrupt the appearance of the vehicle even with year-round use.
The integrated T-track for mounting accessories is covered along its entire length, which eliminates whistling caused by airflow. Mounting and dismounting the crossbars is easy – the required Allen key is stored directly in the base of the crossbar, so you always have it at hand. The Yakima S56 crossbars are mounted without an additional mounting kit and are ready for immediate use.
