The Yakima S41 wing-shaped crossbars are designed for minimal aerodynamic drag. In practice, this means a very quiet ride without disturbing noise and virtually no impact on fuel consumption. They are placed directly between the longitudinal rails, so they hardly increase the overall height of the vehicle and often allow for seamless entry into low garages even with a roof box.
Thanks to their clean, unobtrusive design, you can drive with the racks all year round – they don't disrupt the car's appearance even with daily driving, and you'll hardly notice their presence. The T-slot for accessory mounting is covered along its entire length, eliminating whistling at higher speeds. Assembly and disassembly are simple, you only need an Allen key, which is integrated into the base of the rack, so you always have it at hand. The Yakima S41 racks are mounted without the need for a separate mounting kit.
