Diadora Speed Vortex are light, road shoes that contain special technologies and elements for maximum performance and comfort while driving. The upper is made of durable and breathable materials. The carbon sole ensures high rigidity and prevents the escape of precious energy from the foot. The sole is additionally equipped with a breathable, impermeable membrane and a removable heel. The Boa® fastening system is a matter of course, which is complemented by Velcro at the bottom of the upper. Ideal road shoes for races, long trainings and for demanding cyclists.

Fish Scale
Innovative, non-slip fabric with a fish-like pattern. It is used as an inner lining for greater comfort and keeping the heel in place.
Morpho AM Cage
The new construction of the upper, which consists of anti-stretch Air Mesh fabric and Suprell-Tech microfibers, ensures perfect closure and increases the stability of the feet during pressure. Air Mesh fabric improves comfort and moisture evaporation to ensure maximum performance.
Plantar Hi-Vent
Technology ensuring maximum ventilation and comfort, even in extreme weather conditions. Waterproof materials keep the foot cool and dry.
Net Breathing System ™
The breathable and waterproof membrane, which allows the sole to be ventilated, prevents moisture, mud and other external particles from entering the shoe and thus keeps the foot dry.
Removable Heel Pad
Anti-slip heel, which is made of Duratech rubber for the best grip and higher abrasion resistance. The ergonomic shape ensures a safe posture when getting off the bike. The heel is attached with a screw and can be easily removed from the inside only by lifting the insole.
Ergonomic Heel Support
Thanks to research and various materials, the third has succeeded in creating a perfect foot support without creating bruises or damage in the sensitive area of the Achilles tendon.
Boa® fastening system
It consists of a steel cable, a nylon guide and a winding wheel.

The shoes fit like a glove: They provide the wearer with comfort, thanks to a smooth, even fastening, which does not cause bruises in any part of the shoe. Fastening: The cables transfer energy better during the entire pedal stroke. Microscopic adjustment: The very precise winding wheel allows the cyclist to achieve perfect tread tension. Low weight: The Boa® system weighs significantly less than other fasteners used in cycling shoes. Breathability: The absence of Velcro straps improves air circulation in the upper leg.

Among the first cyclists who put on Diador's shoes and won their life match was e.g. Giovanni Bataglin-winner of the Giro d'Italia in 1981.
