The compact version of the 12-speed DEORE XT HYPERGLIDE+ drivetrain offers more ground clearance (23mm more) and lower weight, while maintaining an excellent 500% gear range. It is therefore an ideal choice for riders who prefer low weight, as well as for everyday trail riding, especially in combination with a 9–45T cassette. The robust rear derailleur with a medium-length arm (GS) offers fast and precise shifting. It also uses a new cage design and full guide pulleys that more effectively remove mud and dirt from the trail, reducing the risk of jamming and ensuring reliable function even in demanding conditions.
