The following instructions should always be followed in order to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment or damage to the surroundings. The instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage which may occur if the product is used incorrectly.

WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. It may cause the product to not operate correctly, and you may fall unexpectedly and be seriously injured.
- Before attempting to ride with these pedals and shoes, be sure you understand the operation of the engagement/release mechanism for the pedals and shoes. SPD-SL pedals are designed to release only when you want them to. They are not designed to release automatically in a crash.
- Only use SPD-SL shoes with this product. Other types of shoes may not release from the pedals, or may release unexpectedly.
- Use only SHIMANO cleats and securely tighten the mounting bolts to the shoes. If the bolts are not securely tightened, the foot may not be able to release from the pedals, resulting in a fall.
- Before you attempt to ride with these pedals and shoes, apply the brakes, then place one foot on the ground and practice engaging and disengaging each shoe from the pedal until you can do so instinctively and with minimal effort.
- Practice riding on a level surface first until you become adept at engaging and disengaging your shoes from the pedals.
- Before riding, adjust the cleat retention force on the pedals to your preference. If the cleat retention force on the pedals is weak, the shoes may disengage accidentally, possibly causing you to lose your balance and fall off the bicycle. If the cleat retention force on the pedals is too strong, the shoes may not disengage easily.
- At slow speeds or when there is a possibility that you may need to stop (for example, when making a U-turn, approaching an intersection, riding uphill or rounding a sharp corner), release the shoes from the pedals beforehand so that you can quickly put your feet on the ground at any time.
- When riding in adverse conditions, use a lighter cleat retention force to secure the pedal cleats.
- Keep cleats and binding clean of dirt and debris to ensure proper engagement and release.
- Be sure to periodically inspect the cleats for wear. When the cleats are worn, replace the cleats and adjust the cleat retention force of the pedals before riding and after replacing the pedal cleats. If the above warnings are not followed, the shoes may not come out of the pedals when you want them to, or they may come out unexpectedly or accidentally, which could result in serious injury.
- Always install reflectors on the bicycle whenever riding on public roads. Reflectors are sold separately for models not originally equipped with reflectors. Consult the place of purchase or a distributor for information on compatible reflectors.
-If the reflectors are dirty or damaged, do not continue riding the bicycle. Otherwise, it will be difficult for oncoming vehicles to spot you.

Sú to moje prvé cestné pedále. Predtým som používal ako začiatočník SPDcka, nakoľko som sa obával, ako rýchlo sa vypnem. S prechodom na tieto SDPSL ale nakoniec nebol problem, vypnutie je v pohode rychle, vyhovuje mi vola pri zltych kufroch (SM-SH11). Čo ocenujem v porovnaní s SPD je pevnejšie spojenie a tým aj lepší prenos sily. Za mňa super.

Moje prvé SPD pedále, najszdených má na nich cca 3000km, zvykol som si na ne veľmi rýchlo, len som musel uvoľniť vypínanie nakoľko bolo dosť tuhé, potom už to bolo ok. Neviem porovnať s inými keďže som iné SPD-čka nemal ale tieto mi plne vyhovujú, akurát občas sa neviem nacvaknúť a mi to chvíľu trvá, možno je to mojou nešikovnosťou.

Overené pedále, dal som na recenzie ostatných užívateľov. V núdzových prípadoch sa dajú použiť aj s klasickými topánkami či teniskami. Odolnosť je dobrá, žiadne extra známky používania a pod. ani po roku.
